The Orient

Steakhouse, Terrace, Asian, Great View
The Orient Steakhouse, Ocean Terminal Extension Tsim Sha Tsui’s waterfront just levelled up: The Orient Steakhouse is now open at Ocean Terminal Extension, Harbour City, and it’s built for golden-hour hangs and serious “surprise me” meals. Think 180-degree unobstructed views over Victoria Harbour, a modern Asian steakhouse concept, and the kind of alfresco terrace energy you’d screenshot before your first bite.
Chef-led, the kitchen is a proper culinary crossover—Head Chef Saruulgerel Eggi Enkh-Amgala (Chef Eggi) brings 17 years of steakhouse know-how plus bold grilled flavours and up-to-30-day dry-aged cuts (with an Asia-based koji-rice dry-age technique). His partner-in-crime, Bali-born Chef Gede Budiana (Chef Budi), keeps the Southeast Asian soul switched on with punchy herbs, spices, and condiments.
The menu goes surf-and-turf without feeling like a gimmick: Josper live-fire grilling, Asian-inspired sauces (hello sambal kecap manis), and a raw bar with Southeast Asian twists. Beyond steaks, you’ll find banana leaf baked seabass, tamarind lamb chops, and crispy pork ribeye—then finish with black sesame banh flan, chocolate spring rolls, and mango black sticky rice. Come for the views; stay for the flavour.
