Little Bao Diner

Old Hong Kong, Fusion, Trendy, Dog Friendly
Little Bao, led by Chinese-Canadian chef May Chow, is a vibrant fusion restaurant that reimagines Hong Kong flavours with playful creativity. Famous for their fluffy baos filled with meats or vegetarian options, the standout dish is the slow-braised pork belly with sesame mayo hoisin ketchup and shiso leek salad, a staple since their Soho opening. The menu also offers around ten sharing plates like Brussels sprouts with fish sauce caramel, drunken clams, and indulgent truffle fries. The hearty baos are the main attraction, and no visit is complete without trying the LB Ice Cream Sandwich, featuring salted caramel or matcha ice cream tucked into a crispy fried bun. Babette’s décor blends authentic French touches with a fresh, modern vibe. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook bustling Des Voeux Road Central, creating a bright, welcoming space by day and a cosy, vibrant atmosphere by night. Counter seats by the open kitchen offer diners a front-row view of the culinary action.
