Vietnamese cuisine, known for its light and fresh seafood, traditionally balances sweet, sour, salty, and hot elements, and incorporates influences from Southeast Asian and French colonial heritage, creating an extraordinary culinary adventure. Pho Bay’s signature dish, pho, includes flat rice noodles and thinly sliced US beef or combination beef (priced at HK$95-118), garnished with onions and fresh herbs such as cilantro and scallions. Chef Chaliang’s secret recipe lies in the broth, which is lovingly nurtured and infused with the fragrance of star anise, clove, and cinnamon to provide a natural sweetness.
