Tokyo’s beloved handmade hamburg specialist Yamamoto Hamburg has opened its first Hong Kong outpost at PopCorn mall in Tseung Kwan O. Founded by Chef Shohei Yamamoto, the brand is known across Japan for its handcrafted beef-and-pork patties inspired by comforting home cooking.

The Hong Kong debut introduces an all-day dining concept featuring signature hamburg dishes, Japanese comfort classics and exclusive menu creations made specially for the city. To celebrate the opening on 10 February 2026, guests spending HK$400 or more can receive a limited-edition souvenir including a Yamahan Gallery eco-bag or a Hamburg plush charm while stocks last.

The classic choice of Yamamoto’s Hamburg (HK$118) arrives in a rustic bowl, crowned with a cloud‑like Hollandaise soufflé. Inside, the patty hides molten cheese, enriched with a special miso sauce. It is served alongside spaghetti, vegetables, egg, and a savoury Japanese broth, creating a comforting, well‑rounded meal.
