Wan Chai’s new addition, Sophia Loren Hong Kong, has opened The Stage, a cocktail bar and live entertainment space. Featuring luxurious decor with marble tables, suede furniture, and gold detailing, The Stage also includes a secret bar for VIP guests accessible only with a special key from the reception. Benjamin Boyce, the beverage director, has crafted signature cocktails such as Unforgettable (Tanqueray gin with chamomile and honey), Milestones (Bulleit Bourbon and Campari), and Coffee Cold (cold brew coffee with Pampero Blanco). The bar offers a variety of live entertainment: jazz performances on Wednesdays and Thursdays, DJ sets on Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves, stand-up comedy during Saturday brunch, and drag performances on the first Sunday of each month.
