Jus: A Minimalist Temple of Beef Noodles in Soho.
From the team behind the hugely popular Big JJ Seafood Hotpot comes Jus, a sleek new noodle bar tucked along Staunton Street in Soho, right across from PMQ. With just a few counter seats and a minimalist interior, Jus is already drawing queues, thanks to its unwavering focus on one thing: beef noodles.
The menu is pared back to just three bowls – butter beef noodles, beef dan dan noodles, and a vegetarian dan dan option featuring mushrooms instead of minced beef. Each dish stars springy housemade noodles and a flavourful base, whether it’s beef broth, butter, or Sichuan spice. Diners can also elevate their bowls with premium beef cuts like char siu, ox tongue, or tendon, all delicately enhanced with lemon zest.
True to its less-is-more philosophy, Jus offers only two drinks: a refreshing Earl Grey lemon tea, a signature from Big JJ, and a bracing espresso tonic. With its refined simplicity, quality ingredients, and bold beef-forward flavours, Jus is poised to become a cult favourite among noodle lovers in Hong Kong.
