Italian pasta, Traditional, Intimate diner, Freshly Made
DIECI: A Modern Osteria Rooted in Italian Tradition Tucked along Gough Street in Central, DIECI is a warm and intimate Italian osteria founded by Chef Paolo Olivieri. Meaning “ten” in Italian, the restaurant embraces a “less is more” philosophy through a monthly-changing menu of ten signature seasonal dishes — each one telling a story of heritage, memory and craft.
At the heart of DIECI lies the concept of “Osteria Futura,” honouring the soul of traditional Italian osterias while embracing contemporary dining. Drawing inspiration from Chef Paolo’s upbringing in Lazio, the menu celebrates rustic regional flavours — from Roman supplì and puntarelle salad to handmade tortellini and rich wild boar ragù. Daily specials, guided by the freshest market produce, keep the experience dynamic.
The interiors echo a 1970s Italian trattoria, blending vintage warmth with understated modernity. A central chef’s counter anchors the space, inviting conversation and storytelling — an homage to the communal spirit of Italy’s neighbourhood osterias.
Now open for lunch and dinner, DIECI offers heartfelt hospitality, Tuscan wines and a refined yet comforting taste of Italy in the heart of Hong Kong.
