Bistro Seoul

Korean, Japchae, Bibimbap, Kimchi
Bistro Seoul is a recent addition to the array of new restaurants on Lee Tung Avenue in Wan Chai. The warm wooden tones and the visually striking wall adorned with Korean metal spoons create an unpretentious and comfortable atmosphere. We were seated by the window, which was perfect for people-watching, and began our meal with a kimchi seafood pancake. The dish arrived with only two small pieces, but they delivered a robust kimchi flavor. Despite the small pieces of prawn and minimal seafood, we enjoyed the chewy texture and the lack of bland batter in each bite. Next, we had the spicy pan-fried chicken, served on a hot plate with plenty of cabbage and sliced carrots. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, and the chicken was tender. Another solid dish.
