Pak Loh Chiu Chow Restaurant (Dai Siu Branch) is serving up a limited-time
Mother’s Day/Father’s Day festive set menu that’s basically a love letter
to parents—Chiu Chow classics, but with a few chef-led curveballs. The vibe
is warm, refined, and very “family dinner, but make it food-nerd.”

Available 1 May to 30 June, the menu comes in two table
options: HK$10,800 for 12 guests or HK$5,500 for 6 guests.
Pricing includes tea, condiments, and a 10% service charge.
Advance booking at least three days is required—so plan ahead,
bring your people, and make it a proper celebration.

Expect standout starters like the Marinated (“Lo Shui”) Five-Flavour Platter,
built on Chiu Chow master-stock marination, with five different cuts
(pork tendon, goose slices/web/wing, and cuttlefish) delivering layered texture
and flavour. From there, the feast keeps flexing: Crispy Taro Puff with Scallop
(Australian scallops + smooth taro purée), plus a more modern-leaning
take on comforting soups with Braised Fish Maw and Seafood Soup.

Main highlights include Steamed Giant Grouper Fin Fillet and a
beautifully knife-work-forward Winter Melon Sandwich with Jinhua Ham.
Finish strong with Sweetened Deep-fried Taro Cubes and
Mung Bean Sweet Soup with Clear Rice Dumplings—sweet, satisfying,
and very “aww, that’s the point.”
