Swim Club: Kimpton’s Rooftop Statement Above Victoria Harbour
Hong Kong’s rooftop bar scene has a new benchmark. Sitting atop the newly opened Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, Swim Club is a 50th-floor poolside bar designed by Steve Leung Design Group (SLD) that blends sweeping Victoria Harbour views with a distinctly social, sun-soaked attitude. As Kimpton makes its Hong Kong debut, Swim Club signals a confident entry into the city’s cocktail culture.
Branding firm Eight Partnership shaped Swim Club as an urban hideaway, drawing inspiration from vintage Southern California pool culture layered with Hong Kong’s kinetic energy. The space flows from refined indoor seating to an expansive terrace wrapping around a 20-metre heated pool, creating an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and quietly electric.
Helmed by Director of Bars Ram Yadav, the cocktail programme balances craft with approachability, designed for guests who appreciate polish without pretence. A terracotta-and-ocean-blue palette, wave-inspired typography and playful illustrated details reinforce Swim Club’s irreverent charm.
Completing the experience is High Dive, an intimate eight-seat speakeasy tucked within the venue, where rare spirits are served in Baccarat crystal. Together, they establish Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui as a new cultural anchor in Hong Kong’s luxury lifestyle scene.
