Dorsett Kai Tak rolls out the red carpet for dogs and their humans with Paws for a Cause, happening Saturday, 25 October 2025, from 11am to 4pm. In partnership with Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR), this pet-friendly event offers a fun-filled day featuring an al-fresco brunch, doga (dog yoga), a lively pet market, and exclusive vendor discounts. Guests can meet adoptable dogs of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to wise seniors, giving attendees the chance to welcome a furry companion into their home.
The Pawsome Market is a treat for both pets and their owners, stocked with toys, treats, and pup-friendly surprises. Participating vendors such as Buddy Bites, Precious Photobooth, Dots HK, Paws in Luxury, and Evelynity will also donate a portion of proceeds to HKDR. Visitors can enjoy limited-time offers while supporting a good cause. The event fosters community engagement and strengthens the human-animal bond, all while raising awareness and support for dog adoption and welfare in Hong Kong.
Dogs, Brunch, and Yoga: Celebrate Pet Love at Dorsett Kai Tak
Brunch lovers can indulge in Siete Ocho’s Saturday Brunch from 11am to 2pm (HK$328 + 10% per person), with optional free-flow wine for HK$99. Dogs enjoy their own Pawsome Pet Menu, and each brunch booking includes a complimentary doga session from 1pm to 2pm, led by Mimi Cham of Mindful Pet–Human Yoga. Doga encourages calm connection and gentle stretches, helping dogs and humans bond in a relaxed, playful environment.
Education is central to the day’s programme. From 3pm to 4pm, Eurica Li of Dogniversity (CPDT-KA) will present a Cantonese workshop, “Decoding Dog Language: A Heartfelt Dialogue with Doggos”, covering body language, stress signals, and essential cues to deepen understanding between owners and their pets.
For those wanting to extend the experience, Dorsett Kai Tak’s Fur-Ever Friends Getaway offers a pet-friendly staycation with in-room amenities, gift sets, discounted pet stays, and a 26-hour stay, valid until 31 December 2025.
