The Art of Coffee, Redefined at Blue Bottle Studio Hong Kong
Step into a world where every sip tells a story. From 1 to 26 October 2025, Blue Bottle Coffee welcomes guests to the return of Blue Bottle Studio – Hong Kong at its Wan Chai Café. Conceived in Kyoto, this six-seat, reservation-only experience transforms coffee into art, offering a 90-minute tasting that captures the entire life cycle of the bean — from leaf to flower to cherry to seed. Guided by Blue Bottle founder James Freeman and Benjamin Brewer, Senior Director of Global Coffee Experience, guests are invited to explore this year’s theme: The Future of Coffee.
A Sensory Journey into the Future of Coffee
The journey spotlights two rare and resilient species — Liberica and Excelsa — celebrated for their tropical aromas, complexity, and sustainability. Each tasting unfolds with handcrafted pairings, revealing coffee’s evolving potential and emotional depth. From the first aroma to the last sip, the Studio becomes a stage for quiet reflection and sensory storytelling — a space where craftsmanship meets curiosity, and coffee’s next chapter is written before your eyes.
