Social Goods: Where Sourdough, Strength and Community Converge Founded by Paul Lafayet co-founder Christophe Younes, Social Goods is a new Central bakery and café that brings together his two lifelong passions: health and baking. More than a place to eat, it’s where the discipline of the gym meets the warmth of a kitchen that smells like home.
After helping redefine Hong Kong’s patisserie scene with Paul Lafayet, Younes now turns his focus to sourdough and all-day baking. At Social Goods, food is both fuel and comfort, valued not only for technique and flavour, but for its culture, craft and aesthetics. Conceived by food professionals and creatives, the space rethinks what a modern bakery can be.
Designed as a layered sensory experience, custom tiles by Palet echo the textures and natural processes of bread-making, while music curated by Traumer’s side project Amine Laje sets an introspective yet playful mood. Art, food and lifestyle intertwine seamlessly, creating a warm, communal atmosphere.
Social Goods is also a living, evolving hub. Events and happenings are woven into its rhythm, encouraging connection and dialogue in a time where unity feels increasingly precious. Rooted in interconnectedness, it’s a place where nourishment goes far beyond the plate.
