Simple Gifts of Joy: A Magical Christmas at Tai Kwun
This festive season, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) and Tai Kwun invite you to rediscover the wonder of Christmas with Simple Gifts of Joy 2025. From 1 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, Hong Kong’s historic landmark transforms into a sparkling cultural playground. A stunning 12-metre Christmas tree illuminates the Parade Ground, surrounded by whimsical installations, joyful performances, and more than 30 festive experiences by Tai Kwun tenants.
🎄 Highlights:
The celebrations begin with The Gift of Music, an enchanting a cappella performance by VSing under the direction of Anna Lo, blending Hong Kong pop with classic Christmas harmonies. Guests can warm up with complimentary mulled wine and hot chocolate from 6pm. The month-long programme continues with Circus Plays, an international contemporary circus showcase, and The Gift of Night on 4 December, a special evening of glowing art, live music, and festive cheer until 11pm.
