The menu features generous portions of Cantonese classics, from appetizers like crispy large intestine and saliva chicken to sizzling dishes such as ‘jer jer’ X.O lettuce and claypot fried oysters with ginger scallion. Main dishes include crispy fermented bean curd pigeon and black pepper potato beef. Alongside dai pai dong staples like bottled Blue Girl beer, Shop B offers cocktails with nostalgic ingredients like Ribena cordial, preserved salted lemons, and Vitasoy soy milk. The restaurant is a creation by George and Natalie, who love dai pai dong style food for its laid-back and fun vibe. Named “Shop B 路邊攤” due to its proximity to Pondi and a classic junkyard view, it aims to be a go-to spot for local comfort food in Sai Ying Pun. The space is designed to offer a fun atmosphere for enjoying ultimate comfort food, celebrating the timeless appeal of wok-cooked dishes.
