Chiu Chow Delicacies, a small simple shop restaurant at North Point, serving traditional goose meat specialities from Chui Chow (eastern part of Guangdong province, southern China). Chef Lee specialities is the velvety goose meat in its signature spiced marinade. The secret to the dish’s flavour lies in the marinade The liver of the bird – marinated like the goose meat – is a luxury. But unlike very fatty foie gras, the liver don’t comes from force-fed goose. Baby oyster porridge, oyster omelette, and pork blood curd with chives keep the regulars coming. Sourced from a local fish farm, the fatty grey mullet is juicy but without a muddy taste. It also serves rare traditional Chiu Chow gems, such as raw marinated red ark clams.
